This Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) was on the shore along the path from the Blue Hole to Ras Abu Galum, South Sinai. Learn more about egrets here.
He’s a Beauty!
Now I need to look up where Ras Abu Galum is 🙂
Blue Hole should have been my indicator 😉
I didn’t know that area up there is a protectorate as well 🙂
I learn a new thing every day 🙂
It’s a lovely hike from Blue Hole to Ras Abu Galum. When you make it to Dahab, I highly recommend it! If you have time, walk all the more to the north end of Abu Galum, near the “Laguna” area. Beautiful!
Maybe I’ll have a hiking guide when I come there?
